VladStudio make these amazing maps. It's the nicest typography art I've seen in a long time. And I want a print. A BIG ONE.

Polski Alfabet - Letter Dd.
Sometimes our work days can get either too boring or too stressful. In any case, we need breaks. In an effort to keep Lucas from going for extra smoke breaks outside (terribly unhealthy), I've created a little game that is both entertaining and educational. This game is called:
HEY LUCAS, CAN YOU GUESS THE POLSKI WORDS WITHOUT SEEING THE HELPFUL PICTURES?
There are a ton of Polish lessons on YouTube, categorized by letters and sounds. Lucas gets to put his language skills to the test, and I get to giggle and point when he's very wrong.
I filmed today's segment: Polski Alfabet - Unit 10 - Letter D.
Not too shabby, Lu! 14/17 gets you an 82%.
[I still can't believe a legit earthquake hit the T-dot this afternoon. BA-NANAS.]

Too much.
So,
I was working away at some layouts for about 2 hours without losing focus on what I was doing until I went online and stumbled upon a thumbnail of Johnny Depp holding a hot guitar which of course enticed me to click on the photo so that I could see it larger which then lead me to a whole other website that showcased more photos of only Johnny Depp holding selections from his enormous, eclectic guitar collection.
I thought i'd be nice and share a few. I kinda don't feel like working anymore.

Awake!
I walked into work today and noticed a massive box of delectable pastries near my desk. I'm going to pretend that they aren't really there and write up a blog post instead.
Wooooo! Blogs! It's been a while since I've blogged on a daily basis but I want to make an effort to resuscitate this thing and post way more often. I think all you other homies in the Blog Pound should do the same. Pages have been null for too long and I'm starting to miss keeping up with the random Le Lain photos/Mel G treats that make me wanna lick my screen/which tits are blowing Claudia away these days/etc.
Over the past few weeks I've been keeping busy with some design gigs and hustling to get the pulpcuts website up asap. Editing and organizing content is a pain in the rump but it'll be nice to link clients to a site instead of lugging a messy portfolio box around the city. I'll post something when it is officially launched. I'm excited about this!
Hmmm...what else, what else? Something about music maybe. I just previewed 2 leaked tracks off of the new Arcade Fire album. They didn't break me in half or anything but they're decent. I wonder what the rest of the album will sound like. I think I'm waiting for another Neighborhood #3 (Power Out) kind of track to sweep me off my feet and make me wanna smash something against a brick wall. I'm not sure if we'll ever get anything like that again from them.
I'm really digging the Sleigh Bells album. It's not like it's this new amazing thing that hasn't been done before but I still think they're a solid, fun band that we'll be hearing a lot more about. If you're on their myspace page, check out 'Rill Rill'. Dope stuff.
In other music news, I've finally located the band t-shirt of my dreams but refuse to buy it for the insane amount that it's selling for. F you, ebay. I won't do it.
I'm thankful that Friday is finally here. I'm ready to end this work week and kick it back this weekend. If I had a time machine, I'd ask the little man who drives it around to take me to this bar tonight:
Once we arrived there, I'd tip him a whopping $10 (which would be INSANE to him considering he's driving me into the 60s and that's a lot of moolah for those days.)
Have a grand weekend, y'all. xo.
