Homemade Headbandz (Oh, yes we DID).

Category: Food!

Deep Skin Diver.

This night was a good ol' fashioned HOOT.
Board games/paper/markers. All that good stuff.

Here was the best (most fun) round of Pictionary, in my opinion.

The guesses that were yelled out are written in order, below. (I laughed so hard watching this video over and over while writing these. Almost peed a bit.)

Person. Man. Arm. Body? Body Parts. Limbs. Right Hand Man. Limbs! Jumping. Diving. Waves. Diving??? A Diver. Scuba Diver? Body Diver? Body Diving! Body Surfing! LEGS. ARM. Limb Diver?? Appendage??? (lol) Scuba Diver. Is the word Diver? Deep Sea Diver! Ski Diver? WORM. Thread. THREAD! NEEDLE!! NEEDLE!! Needle? SPERM! Thread. Sew. Boat? BOAT? Surf. Fabric? Thread. Needle. Needle! Tongue. SEWING! SEWING! Mowing Diver???? THREAD! Fire. FIRE! ONION. PEEL! SKIN! Skin Diver. DEEP SKIN DIVER!

Now that I've googled it, it may have really said "Skin Deep Diver" on the card; but we weren't gonna get too technical at that point.

Illustration and Logo Book.

I've crossed off another item on my 2010 To-Do List. A kick in the ass from Mil and a promotion going on at Photobook Canada was exactly what I needed to get me finally working on putting together an illustration and logo book. (For reals this time!) It took a few good weeks of planning and fine-tuning, but now that it's complete, I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out. Hats off to the Photobook Canada peeps. I'm super pleased with the quality of the whole thing.

Baseball cards for girls.

Very nostalgic feelings right now.

While searching through cupboards, trying to dig up some old school photos, my sis and I came across a little box with buried treasure in it. 2 packs of Topps New Kids On The Block collectible cards (the date shows 1990 in the fine print). I remember vowing to save these 2 unopened packs until we were all grown up with careers and stuff, and then we'd sell them for tons of money and happily quit our jobs so we could live off the crazy amounts of cash we'd have made by selling these cards to wealthy auctioneers.

I know now that these cards aren't worth shit, and obvs the gum sticks inside are beyond incredibly stale. Waahh.

Outside The Box.

Video Clip.

Yay Sway and Yay Mikey for getting involved to make this program happen. I went to visit last winter on the day the recording sessions took place and it was such a nice thing to see. Kids and music and volunteers; all very important indeed.
