I've never really used fondant before, but I've seen some really cool stuff online lately and thought I'd give it a shot. These Food Writer Markers were a blast to draw and paint with.

Lately, I've been feeling Bakerella-ish. Or maybe I'm just looking for a temporary distraction. Or maybe I'm just looking for chocolate and sugar. On a stick.

T and I decided to try out some of those cake pops that Bakerella's always raving about. Not gonna lie; they ain't as simple to make as she makes them seem. I'm talking hours of time and patience and steps and re-dos. We were so close to scrapping the whole batch and going out for cheesecake. But we didn't and I'm glad that we didn't cause those things were the tastiest little treats ever! CAKE POPS! [Almost CAKE FLOPS!] Wooo.
