I got the chance to check out The Kills @ the Sound Academy on Sunday night. As expected, it was a euphoric blend of minimalist drum-machines and heavy, down 'n' dirty guitar riffs. It's hard to stand still at a show like this. Alison and Jamie make me too darn giddy. And, of course, I recommend you checking out their latest release: Blood Pressures. You won't be disappointed. Promise.

Cool shots. I dont know how you stand this venue though. It's pretty embarrassing and it's notorious for sounding terrible. It's pretty much the anti-massey hall. I actually get upset when I see that good bands are still playing there.
