lee.

My pal Lisa and I always have fun when it comes to gift-giving occasions. Homemade pieces that have been well thought out and created with some heart and soul are always the best to give and receive, right? I think so. (Way cooler than some over-priced name brand shirt, anyway.) For my birthday a few years ago, Lee put together a bunch of wicked homemade tees, drawings, and some sweet Value Village vintage goods; all of which were stuffed into a few of my favourite cereal boxes for some "creative wrapping" points. Loved it to bits. I made and plaqued this illustration as part of my gifts to her when her birthday rolled around. She cried like a 2 year-old when she saw it. And I laughed. And then she laughed. Point is, sentimental gifts create mushy moments that mark memories which will never, ever be forgotten.
